JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

REQUIREMENTS

• Manages all IT related technology infrastructure and services for the entire group across functions.
• Engages the management team to find out what they want and to advise them objectively on where IT might make a difference to the business.
• Translate company's business requirements into functional and technical system requirements and Identify vendors who can fulfill these requirements.
• Plans project stages and communicates with the vendors to accomplish the projects as per the set deadlines, sets SLAs.
• Agrees costs, timescales and standards to be met and monitoring these throughout the project.
• Manage the maintenance of business continuity as related to automation systems (preventive maintenance or trouble resolution).
• Maintaining existing and developed systems.
• Making sure there is a smooth transition from the old system to the new one.
• Evaluation of each project stage once completed.
• IT governance on Manufacturing cycles
• Manages/Redefines security levels, standards and IT policies
• Technically evaluates vendor proposals and recommendations to fulfill the IT requirements of the company.
• Monitors department performance, provides feedback, leads recruitment, for the department based on internal guidelines.
• Web and Desktop software design and development using ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL2000, Web Services.
• Visits and revisit Showrooms/Stores to ensure consistent IT standards, policies, best practices and make recommendations
• System Analysis (creating User Requirements and functional specifications)
• Introduce new IT awareness programs, train and certify employees
• Prepares project documents such as NDS, Proposal and Agreement Contract.
• Develops IT strategy, determines and articulates impact, benefits, set goals and manages service delivery.
• Develop IT strategy in a way to support the company’s business objectives.
