Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for all aspects of revegetation projects, from planning and design to implementation and monitoring.
- Conduct and oversee ecological surveys to assess site suitability, plant community composition, and potential challenges for revegetation efforts
- Develop and implement revegetation plans that promote biodiversity, habitat restoration, and long-term sustainability.
- Select appropriate plant species for revegetation based on site characteristics, ecological objectives, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the procurement of native plant materials, ensuring quality and suitability for project goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of ecologists, providing training and guidance on ecological restoration practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
- Conduct data analysis and prepare technical reports summarizing project findings and recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in ecological restoration
- Identify and implement innovative approaches to enhance revegetation success.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant environmental regulations and permit requirements.
- Responsible for managing and executing the Revegetation projects.
- Experience in Community relationship with plants
- Experience in lower and higher flora and fauna classifications or ecology.
- Experience in Revegetation development

REQUIREMENTS

Qualification and Experience:
- B.Sc.or Post-Graduate Ecology degree or Equivalent
- Experience in gas / refinery / petrochemical industries
- experience in related designation / specialty
