Our newest opportunity is for a talented Mechanical Engineer (Design) - Level 2 to join our award-winning team based in Kuwait.

This position is responsible for working on the design process on one or several projects depending on size, type and complexity. The requirement includes applying sound engineering principles in the development of design solutions and the production of contract documentation and providing direct instructions, guidance and oversight of all tasks conducted by engineers assigned to work on the respective projects.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include:

- Using Autodesk Revit tools to present design and engineering solutions.
- Researching, planning, designing and developing building engineering systems, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing and electrical, in strict consultation and coordination with project lead/senior engineer.
- Working under supervision of the project lead/senior engineer to perform engineering evaluations, feasibility studies, conceptual and final design, cost estimates, and engineering calculations.
- Preparing and documenting calculations and complete with supporting references to codes and standards, scan and locate in the project folder under the correct project number for future access by any member of staff located in any of the KEO offices.
- Understanding of building services engineering principles.
- Technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems.
- Statistical data analysis experience.
- Knowledge of building codes and standards as well as industry practices.
- Working knowledge of energy, sustainability and local authority requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a minimum of 6 years' work experience partnered with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Thorough knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office and HAP Cooling Load Software is desirable.
