JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client is one of the biggest retail stores in the Middle East with over 20,000 products. They are seeking to expand their workforce and are looking to hire a Payroll Accountant to join their Finance and Accountant team.

Our client is an established and well-known group that offers a number of products and services of the best quality to their customers. It is the largest retail store in the Middle East, and is present since 2005 with operations in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Qatar and Oman.
Description
* Reviewing the monthly payroll run for all business areas
* Reconciling month to month payroll to detect any irregularities
* Keeping track of staff off-cycle payments for all business areas
* Checking and reviewing all overtime requests to ensure required approvals according to policies
* Reconciling and analyzing indemnity and leave provisions to ensure accuracy
* Preparing ledger entries
* Maintaining payroll files and entering all payroll information
* Preparing payroll reports for managers

REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related
* Proven work experience in multi organisation accounting system
* Over 7 years of relevant experience
* Experience with SAP is a must
* Strong leadership, follow-up, and analytical skills
* High level of integrity and dependability with strong sense of urgency and details, and results-orientation
* Strong MS Excel skills
* Fluent in Arabic and English
