Client is looking for someone to hit the ground running and enhance the team. The Principal Mechanical Engineer will be working on an iconic commercial project. They will be involved in design, delivery and run a team of individuals. This role is based in Kuwait and the candidate is expected to provide technical MEP and management leadership to the site supervision group.

Paramount to success within this varied role will include;

• Responsible for all supervision team on the site
• Carry out site inspections.
• Keep daily records
• Review and monitor Contractor's procedures/ practices for health and safety.
• Review and monitor contractor's shop drawings, materials and method statements • Monitor MEP contractor's progress on site.
• Audit Inspectors work as part of Site QA procedures.
• Sign off the relevant part of the contractor's RFI's in a timely manner
• Raise any non-conformances or poor workmanship reMEP with the Project Manager in a timely manner
• Raise any safety issues with the Safety Engineer and at the same time keeping the Project Principal informed
• Coaches, encourages, and supports colleagues
• Manages and creates successful relationships with contractors, client and internal stakeholders
• Networks well with other groups in the firm
• Shares and imparts knowledge to support the site supervision team
• Makes decisions based on an understanding of all financial and commercial, contractual implications
• Consistently deliver effective appropriate and accurate technical outputs and results
• Make timely and considered decisions including corrective action as necessary
