JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Required to join an international contractor working on the construction of Oil & Gas Process Plant and related facilities.
Responsibilities include:
• Drafting, on behalf of and in conjunction with senior management and Corporate Quality Department, the Quality Policy and objectives, Project Quality Plan, QMP’s and any other procedure / document necessary for the successful implementation of the project quality requirements.
• Ensuring compliance of works with applicable codes, standards, contracts, specifications through suitable examinations and testing.
• Auditing and monitoring the Project Quality Management System to determine its continuing suitability and effectiveness, and the level of implementation being applied to determine where improvements are needed and recommending/instigating as necessary the appropriate corrective ac
Requirements:
• BSc Engineering or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering. HND or equivalent could be accepted if accompanied with strong professional qualifications and experience.• Candidates with Civil Engineering or E&I background only, will not be considered.
• 15 years working experience with at least 10 years in QC Engineer/Manager post in oil & gas related projects.
• Ability to communicate well at all levels within the Project and to demonstrate leadership.
• Should possess very good planning, presentation, negotiations and organizational skills, the vision to identify quality improvement opportunities.
