JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registrar in Neonatology to join our dynamic healthcare team in Kuwait. This pivotal role involves providing expert neonatal care to newborns and collaborating closely with pediatric and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of treatment and support for infants and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive neonatal care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of newborn infants in various clinical settings.
- Monitor and manage critically ill neonates in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pediatricians, nurses, and other specialists to deliver integrated care.
- Participate in clinical trainings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Advise and support parents and families regarding neonatal care and health plans.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in neonatology and implement evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
- Medical degree with specialization in Neonatology or Pediatrics with experience in neonatal care.- Valid medical license to practice in Kuwait or eligibility to obtain one.
- Proven experience working in a neonatal intensive care unit or similar setting.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with families and healthcare teams.
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous professional development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural healthcare environment.
