Role Summary:

BHGE is seeking a talented engineering graduate to join our team as a Reservoir Engineer in Kuwait

Essential Responsibilities:

- Interaction with client to determine, clarify and recommend objectives as part of pre-job planning to optimize data quality
- Acquire good technical understanding of tool specifications and capabilities to match these with customer needs and requirements
- Interface daily with Wireline/LWD operations support and Field Engineers to understand operational constraints and challenges
- Interface daily with client to understand challenges, risks, and uncertainties
- Pre job planning and preliminary job execution forecast including numerical simulations and analytical modelling using in-house and commercial software
- Real Time analysis and interpretation of data during the job execution and interaction with Field Engineer and Client representative
- Post job deliverables including reporting of analysis and interpretation of data
- Interaction with other GPE team members to understand petrophysical and geological analysis
- Tracking job activity for business planning
- Traveling to different clients locations, as and when required.
- Lead formation testing and sampling scope of work for assigned jobs and manage pre-job, during job and post job responsibilities.
- Provide reservoir engineering input to other operations support teams.
- Do quality checks of each test during the jobs and take` full control during job execution
- Present data, interpretation and reports to internal and external clients either individually or as part of the RE team.
- Discuss with internal and external clients on reservoir engineering matters.
- Support colleagues by assisting them with reservoir engineering knowledge.
- Good client interaction, real time monitoring, post job deliverables and follow ups

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications/Requirements:

- B.E./B.Tech degree in petroleum engineering or equivalent subject.
- Masters in Reservoir Engineering will be added advantage but not must.
- Good knowledge of E&P business and reservoir engineering
- Strong knowledge in RCI, FTEX and TTK
- Experience in the following areas would be an advantage:
- PTA and other software for reservoir engineering
- Operations and well site activities
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Good presentation skills.
