JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
- Responsible for all incoming deliveries and shipment and safe keeping of all stock located within CH.
- Operates procedures for activities such as verification of incoming to and outgoing materials from the stockroom.
- Handling the inventory and keeping the stockroom inventory current and accurate.
- Compares deliveries with specifications indicated on purchase orders/contract document and prepares discrepancy reports for any item not in compliance.
- Inspects physical condition of the storage area, materials and equipment.
- In conjunction with the Financial team undertakes physical inventories if required.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support other department when required.
- Works within the companys policies, objectives and quality management system.
- Keeps the stockroom clean and presentable at all times.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have successfully completed secondary education.
- Prior experience in a similar position is desirable.
- Ideally will have at least three years working experience in warehousing.
- Must be fluent in spoken & written English.
- Knowledge of using computer in a windows environment and in particular Word & Excel.
- Knowledge of Arabic Language (speaking & writing) would be an advantage.
