JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are looking for a Tender Manager for a leading multinational Pharmaceutical Company in Kuwait.

Main responsibilities:

- As a Tender Manager you are expected to identify stakeholders in the Gulf region and create a tender strategy.
- Have a god understanding of the tender process in the Gulf market while maintaining the current business and developing new clients for potential business
- Conduct at tender business plan and implementation method for the portfolios, product launch and the commercial team.
- Create tenders and a work plan to align with costs and policies.
- Organize visits to have a better understanding of market needs and wants.
- Handle all tender negotiations and direct purchasing with external agencies such as governmental organizations.
- Evaluation of data analysis that is affecting the decision making on brands and products and making sure all departments are involved in the tender cycle.
- Analyze tender documentation including products, services, quantities, delivery deadlines, terms and conditions.
- Evaluate tender documents such as products, services, quantities, delivery deadlines, terms and conditions.
- Handle offers and proposals from their start to end, as well as the production of any materials required.
- Prepare final steps of submission of documents, pricing proposals, commercial terms and sample requirements with necessary approvals and guarantees.
- Make sure all files of customers and supplier have the ability of being tracked on the system
- Maintain the target profit rates through business cases.
- Conduct a pricing structure and follow up with clients on their tenders.
- Must deliver reports, forecast and recommendation to the senior manager.

REQUIREMENTS

Profile:

- Candidate must have a bachelor's degree (biology, chemistry, pharmacy).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar Tender role within a pharmaceutical or healthcare industry in the Middle East.
- Experience with SCM and regulatory process.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills and project management.
- Candidate must speak and write English fluently (Arabic would be a plus).
