JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Group Financial Controller is responsible for developing , maintaining and enhancing Group - wide budgeting , financial planning , control , accounting and reporting policies and practices . He / she will also be required to carry out analyses of financial results and provide management with an understanding of the Group's financial performance and the financial effect of business plans and strategies

Key Accountabilities

- Lead the negotiation and execution of credit documents and terms with suppliers
- Ensure balance sheet accounts and account payables are well managed as well as needed support and guidance provided as required to various countries
- Identify, assess and reduce financial risks associated with specific transactions
- Generate and validate the Monthly Group (local and corporate) Reporting Packages including Joint Ventures
- Ensure franchisors and other stakeholders’ accounts are timely settled
- Control and validate the availability of short and long term corporate and local funds to run the operations including proper cash flow management
- Oversee the preparation and issuance of the legal consolidation for the Group in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Prepare the annual budget and business plan of the department
- Recruit, train, motivate and evaluate his/her team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the company

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications, Experience

- Knowledge Master's in Business Administration; CPA is a plus
- 7 years of related local financial/accounting experience out of which 3 in a supervisory role
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards ( International Accounting Standards )
