JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
- Meet with stakeholders to understand the scope of projects
- Understand business requirements
- Perform test beds creation and maintenance of test database’s scripting using SQL automated test bed execution and clean up
- Perform stress testing, performance testing, functional testing, scalability testing
- Create or maintain databases of known test defects
- Design test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
- Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability
- Run manual and automated tests
- Document software defects, using a bug tracking system and report defects to software developers
- Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content
- Write bug reports
- Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Business Computing or equivalent – Minimum 5 years’ experience in developing and executing software test plans, automated tests, release
- Basic Knowledge of Database : .NET
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must show proficiency in critical and analytical thinking
- Should be detail oriented, be focused and have a lot of enthusiasm because sometimes the work is monotonous and repetitive.
- Understand fluently the business and the testing tools She/he’s using.
- Be a good problem solver and detective.
- Handle documentation.
- Should enjoy the challenge involved in tracking the slightest fault.
