JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
This role will be responsible for the planning, contract management, operations of all catering services available in all branches.
- Develop and implement the catering strategy and concept of operations for all F&B facilities.
- Ensure that all menus and services are delivered to the highest standard considering clients preferences and specifications.
- Negotiate and review contracts with clients to ensure accuracy of services.
- Lead the hiring process and selection of candidates for all employees.
- Design and implement training programs for the kitchen staff to deliver high performance.
- Manage, support and motivate staff to encourage a positive environment.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance to optimize results.
- Schedule kitchen staff shifts along with the Executive Chef.
- Oversee purchasing of all catering supplies.
- Manage and control inventory including catering stock and supplies.
- Handle budgets for all catering operations.
- Monitor all financial operations including revenues and expenses.
- Ensure that practice of health and safety regulations are strictly applied.
- Ensure that all health records regarding employees and facilities are up to date.
- Travel frequently between branches/cities to manage all operations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or degree in business management or tourism related field.
- Proven experience in managerial position in the catering field.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and resolve conflicts.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
- Extensive knowledge of catering operations and food hygiene.
- Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS).
