JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and repair of our facilities and equipment to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs
- Performing repairs and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and providing timely solutions
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Coordinating with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance work
- Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Participating in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role- Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings to perform maintenance and repair tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment
