Senior Construction Manager

Our client is a leading multinational engineering services provider and general contractor who employ over 2,000 and deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centres, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services. They are currently seeking a Senior Construction Manager to join them on a Data Centre Project in Amsterdam.

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, direct labour, and suppliers to ensure efficient sequencing of works and adherence to the construction programme.
• Lead daily site operations, chair coordination meetings, and ensure effective communication across all stakeholders, including client, consultants, and project teams.
• Monitor progress against programme, identify delays or issues early, and work with the planning and delivery teams to implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, promoting a strong safety culture and driving site-wide adherence.
• Review design information, construction drawings, and specifications, resolving issues on site and escalating as necessary to the project or design team.
• Manage logistics, materials handling, and site access requirements, ensuring the smooth flow of resources to support construction productivity.
• Support commissioning and handover phases, ensuring all snagging, testing, and documentation is completed to client and regulatory requirements.

Salary:
EUR 9,500 to 10,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
