JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Review Contractor’s shop drawings to ensure they comply with IFC Documents, project specifications, local regulations, and relevant international standards.
• Responsible for coordinating between all disciplines and specialists and ensuring the implementation of activities as per the IFC Documents and Project Specifications.
• Review/Approve the Contractor’s submission of Civil Material & Sub-contractor/Supplier’s Approvals, Method statement’s and respond to RFI’s.
• Evaluating the Contractor bid submissions for Prime Cost and Provisional Sum Items.
• Make arrangements for a presentation for the client during the progress review meeting.
• Provide regular updates to PM/RE regarding project challenges and resolutions.
• Attend Progress/Technical review meetings to support PM/RE and resolve site issues.
• Conduct daily site inspections as per the approved Shop Drawings & Method statement (especially finishing works) to monitor work progress, identify potential issues and address quality concerns promptly to the PM/RE.
• Carryout Material receiving Inspection as per the approved MAS.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture• 5+ years of experience in the reputed Consultancy organization of handling big building construction project.
• Experience with coordination with statutory and regulatory authorities in the Middle East.
• Familiar with local and international engineering Standards and Codes.
• Experiences in construction practice.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving capabilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
