JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Assistant Finance Manager shall support the Finance Manager in maintenance of the financial activities of the Telecom and Information Technology cluster companies. The role of the Assistant Finance Manager is expected to carry out all responsibilities assigned

Key Responsibilities
• Preparation of monthly MIS financial reports, P&L forecasts, annual budgeted Income statements and Balance sheets, annual Income tax returns and related assessment reports required to complete income tax and VAT assessments.
• Review of monthly Job costing report for each of the customer order and adequacy of vendor cost of sales provision.
• Preparation of monthly reports like Debtors Ageing Report, Sticky Debt Reports, and Status of Customer orders to analyze unbilled revenue, review of work in progress.
• Review of the prospective new business opportunities workings received from business team to ensure the financial feasibility, tax compliance and accuracy of the workings before submission of the bid to the customers.
• Assist in complying with all the financial and legal requirements, responsibilities, and obligations, including statutory obligations like, VAT return, WHT return, and Income Tax Returns.
• Preparation of payroll and related tasks of employee salaries related data.
• Timely preparation of monthly/ annual financial & management reports
• Timely preparation of Monthly Job Costing and Debtors report.
• Continuous follow-up to ensure timely submission of financial and legal requirements.
• Good interpersonal relationships with respective operations & finance team.

Salary:
OMR 1,600 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

REQUIREMENTS

Education Mandatory:
• Chartered Accountant
• Minimum 6 years of experience with last 3 years in contracting companies / IT companies.
• Experience in Oman for last 3 years is preferable.
• Knowledge of Oman VAT, Income Tax and ERP software is must.
• Good knowledge of operating MS Excel and MS Power point
• Must be good in the areas of analytical analysis, inter-personal skills, both oral and written communication skills and decision-making skills.
