JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The Chief Electrical Engineer will be acting as Team Leader and Project Manager depending on the project size and typology and he will be reporting directly to our Technical Director or Managing Director.
As Team Leader he will coordinate a multidisciplinary team of engineers (mechanical and electrical) to undertake complete MEP design in coordination with the architects and other engineers.
As Project Manager he will manage entirely the MEP projects form start to completion, interacting and coordinating directly with clients and other consultants.
He will be responsible for technical and financial success of all projects assigned to him as Team Leader and Project Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree electrical engineering
- 15+ years of experience in design consultancy firms (NOT CONTRACTOR)
- Excellent knowledge of Autocad
- Excellent knowledge of electrical design calculations software
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills in leading cross-functional teams
- Outstanding communication skills including resolving conflicts and focus on influence
- Must have an excellent professional appearance
- Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals
- Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance
- Must possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others
- Must have basic PC experience in Windows environments, working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, email, Web-enabled applications, and database software
- Possess the ability to work well as part of a team and independently
- Fluent English
- Experience in Middle East (will be a BIG plus)
- Experience in BIM modelling with Revit Software (not mandatory, as plus)
- Driving License
