JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

To ensure the efficient running of the wash-up, pot-wash, skip room and back of house area to ensure the hygiene of the kitchen and stewarding areas.

Essential functions include but not limited to:
* Handles all administration duties such as scheduling, evaluations, logbook, inventories, reports and controls payroll scheduling and budgets
* Cleaning and supplying all F&B outlets according to the hotel standards.
* To maintain a high standard of hygiene cleanliness according to the HACCP policy
* Makes sure proper maintenance of all operating equipment entrusted to him/her
* Control issues from steward store and if withdraws equipment from circulation if not in use.

REQUIREMENTS

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of computer accounting programs, math skills as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Most tasks are performed in a team environment with the employee acting as a team leader. There is minimal direct supervision.
