JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
In order to include in a proposal for feasibility study of flood protection schemes in Oman, experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer required.
The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will be reporting to the Project Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
- Civil engineer (honors degree in Civil Engineering) specialized in soil mechanics and /or materials science.
- 15 years of overall experience in the relevant field - knowledge in the geotechnical investigations for dams,
- wide experience in the assessment of geophysical investigations for structures, foundations and construction materials.
- experience in conducting soil mechanics investigations,
- experience in materials testing, and capable to make the technical interpretations for the site investigations and the testing results.
