JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client is one of Omans largest contractors and a strong presence in the Sultanate of Oman. They are urgently in need of an MEP Construction Superintendent to lead all MEP works on a project for Muscat airport. This job presents a great long term opportunity for one of Omans most established contractors. Candidate should have previous experience working on an airport project.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the installation of all MEP works.
- Able to plan and coordinate MEP works.
- Resolve site issues with consultant, clients, and sub contractors.
- Lead a team of different MEP engineers.
- Prepare and monitor site progress reports.
- Responsible for implementation of HSE, QA/QC protocols onsite.
- Support budget estimation and cost controls.
- Review and approve requisitions.
- Assist with the training and development of subordinates for advancement.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have relevant university degree. Candidates without full university degree will not be considered.
- 15+ years experience.
- Previous experience on Airport projects.
- Previous GCC experience preferred.
- Western candidates preferred.
- No outstanding NOC issues for Oman.
