JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

- Compiles information and records to draw up purchase orders for procurement of materials and services and ensures purchased materials arrives on schedule and meets all necessary specifications.
- Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and inform departments originating requests.
- Review requisition orders in order to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications.
- Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders; follow up with requesting departments and provide periodical reports to the purchase supervisor.
- Check the status of the purchased item’s quantity and quality when it arrives at the factory stores.
- Coordinate with vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action with confirmation from Purchase Supervisor.
- Carry out purchasing activities and keeping track of available stock.
- Carry out any other tasks as instructed by his or her direct supervisor related to the nature of the job.

REQUIREMENTS

- Higher Secondary Education / any relative additional course or certifications will be beneficial
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in purchasing Good command of spoken and written English
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel Building Trust
