JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Our client, a fast growing oil and gas company, is urgently looking for a Sales Engineer to be based in Oman. For this role, the person will have the following responsibilities:

Key Account Management
- increasing sales with existing clients, building stronger and longer lasting relationships.
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, consumer preference and position our organisation’s Diesel offering accordingly.

Business Development
- targeting major national key accounts in the industrial and retail markets. Developing a nationwide distributor network to support market penetration drive.
- Collaborating with sales team to effectively achieve organizational goals
- Fixing Sales deals and follow up on sales inquiries and deliveries of diesel.
- Serving as point of contact for customers and answering their service related queries in person and on the phone.
- Reaching and exceeding weekly, monthly and yearly sales target.
- Coordinating with Logistics Team to ensure the clearance for the vessels and product are in place (Customs Clearance)
- Managing Logistics companies to ensure truck/tanker availability and product movement for local supplies.

Product
- chemicals movement planning.
- Offering chemical supply solutions to the customers on shorter and longer term basis.
- Ensuring the Quality of services to the Market is in accordance to the industry best practices.
- Dealing with Local Customs and other concerned authorities if needed.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably in Sales, Business Development, International Business, Oil & Gas)
- 3+ years sales experience in Oil Products Sales on the UAE Market
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with proven persuasive and negotiation power
- Self-motivated and results oriented
- Good time management and task prioritization skills
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills
- Planning & Analytical skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure and on strict deadlines
- Should have a valid UAE/Omani Driving License
- Consistent top sales performer
- Team player
- Problem solving skills

Candidate must be knowledgeable about Oman market.
