Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

- Identify potential new clients through research, networking, and cold calling.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the hotel.

Client Relationship Management:

- Maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Conduct regular client visits and follow-ups to build long-term partnerships.
- Handle client inquiries and requests promptly and efficiently.

Sales Planning and Strategy:

- Develop and execute sales plans to increase business from key market segments including corporate, leisure, and group travel.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.

Contract Negotiation:

- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and agreements to clients.
- Negotiate terms and conditions to close deals and secure bookings.
- Ensure all contracts are in compliance with hotel policies and procedures.

Reporting and Analysis:

- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for the Sales Manager/Director.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Collaboration:

- Work closely with other departments such as reservations, front office, and food and beverage to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide feedback and insights from clients to help improve hotel services and offerings.

Customer Service:

- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service to clients.
- Address any issues or concerns raised by clients promptly and effectively.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in hotel sales or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
