JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our team in Oman-Salalah. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting internal audits, evaluating financial and operational processes, and providing recommendations to improve the organization's operations and internal controls. The role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of internal audit principles and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the organization's internal controls, financial systems, and compliance with regulations
- Evaluate and assess financial and operational processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency
- Develop audit programs and testing procedures to ensure that all significant risks are identified and evaluated
- Prepare detailed reports of audit findings and recommendations for management
- Work closely with management to provide guidance on internal control best practices and process improvements
- Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure compliance and effectiveness
- Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in regulations to ensure the organization's internal audit processes remain effective and compliant

Salary:
OMR 600 to 700 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: • family status visa & and sponsorship. • Additional family perks such as family annual flight tickets to home country.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CIA, or other relevant certification is preferred
- Proven experience in internal audit, preferably in the MONEY EXCHANGE, TRANSPORTATION, HOTEL, or MINING industry
- Strong understanding of internal audit principles, techniques, and standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices, and the ability to adapt to changes in the regulatory environment
- Proficient in using audit software and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to travel as needed for audit assignments
