JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Do protection system studies, calculations, and review power system studies for the Network
• Attending troubles and breakdown in the protection system.
• Preparation of the annual protection maintenance schedule
• Carry out all maintenance in line with the annual maintenance schedule
• Fault analysis after tripping occurrences and rectifying to re energize
• Ensure protective relays function promptly at the time of fault conditions with proper coordination
• Checking the relays setting calculations, equipment design calculations and the fault level calculations
• Contribution towards the preparation of Protection and Metering budget, price control and tender documents
• Supporting and implementation of new protection and metering policy and procedures.
Requirements:
• Engineering Degree Electrical / Power / Electronics• Preferred a Master degree in Electrical / Power / Electronics, Engineering.
• 5+ years in a Protection Environment Field
• Minimum Level 2 in Protection
• Having Authorization certificate
• Knowledge and Understanding of the Asset Management ,HSE Management, Information Security Management, Quality Management and Business Continuity Management
