Overview of the role:

Electronics Technician is responsible in conducting maintenance check and repairs for various types of TV, AV and other Medium type of Home appliances and achieve assigned service target.

What you will do:-

Description of Accountability:
- Attending and resolving the Jobs inside or outside Service Centre based on the preassigned territory or decision taken by the department time to time at highest quality with Zero repetition.
- Testing systems for proper functioning, performing repairs, maintaining tools, ordering supplies, and making routine adjustments to maximize operational efficiency.
- Contact the customer to have more clarity on the nature of defect. Inform the respective Sales and Dealer team if the customer is not contactable. Timely update the progress of the Job to customer and interested parties.
- Give proper explanation about the Job in polite and respectable manner
- Raise Spare Parts request to appropriate team member with required documents.
- Ensure continuous follow-up to avoid delay. Escalate to other levels of reporting hierarchy if the pending above 4 days. Alert on abnormal, epidemic nature of failures to the Supervisor and Manager.
- Return the defective parts to Store same day of repair.
- Ensure complete documentation for those defective parts which further to claim to Supplier.
- Completing the Call within desire period. Update the status in SAP with the summary of complaint, action taken immediately and get the invoicing done by next day. Update the work status to all stakeholders such as Dealer, Sales team, and other associates. Raise the difficulties to concerned Supervisor and escalate to other hierarchies of department until the issue is resolved.
- Adhere strict payment terms in case of Out warranty jobs.
- Follow up and collect the payment from customer.
- Escalate pending payments beyond 10 days to next levels of Omasco hierarchy.
- Monitor and improve own performance recorded in SAP such as Number of calls received, attended, closed, billed, pending etc. daily.
- Take it up irregularities if any with respective Supervisor and Manager immediately.

REQUIREMENTS

Required Skills to be successful:
- Having good customer handling skills
- Must have knowledge in trouble shooting
- Ability to detect damages and malfunctions
- Must have wide knowledge in installation, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance of all Medium domestic appliances.
- Spoken Arabic
- Products, Demographics & Market Knowledge.
- Problem analysis and problem-solving

What equips you for the role:
- Must have a minimum of 6+ years' experience as an Electronics Technician in TV/AV/HA segment
- Valid Oman/GCC Driving License
- Proven ability to achieve targets.
- Graduate or minimum higher secondary.
