JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client is a leading engineering consultancy and they are currently looking to hire a Structural Engineer to be based in Oman.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Planning, preparing, & coordinating engineering drawings and documents for schematic design, design development, and construction document submissions
• Collaborating with other disciplines to produce integrated project documents
• Assisting with spatial coordination between architecture and other engineering systems
• Analyzing, designing and detailing structural elements of steel, masonry, and concrete buildings
• Performing engineering calculations and ensuring the design strategy complies with codes
• Performing field inspections and site condition surveys
• Reviewing contractor submittals
• Routinely support multiple design teams (projects) and deliver with overlapping schedules
• Producing quality work through the use of technology and methodologies that create innovative approaches to building design
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 8+ years’ design experience, leading projects for clients in such building sectors.
• Thorough understanding of structural engineering systems and advanced engineering principles/cal
