JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

As the Tendering and Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for efficiently managing and coordinating the Estimating Department's activities. Your role will involve close collaboration with Clients, Consultants, and Construction staff to ensure the successful completion of tenders. Key responsibilities include:

- Overseeing all preconstruction activities, including commercial and technical tender submissions, as well as business development and marketing initiatives.
- Working closely with the Business Development department to strategize and manage tender opportunities in alignment with the overall business strategy.
- Drafting Subcontract Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Tender Document.
- Planning and executing the tender process for each bid, ensuring timely receipt of necessary information.
- Appointment and supervision of the Design team to ensure effective collaboration and execution of projects.
- Providing necessary information to Design subcontractors to facilitate accurate quotation preparation.
- Generating reports on tendering performance and statistics as required.

REQUIREMENTS

- Must have at least 15 years experience working in the Construction Industry and at least 5 years working in the Middle East.
- Must have a Degree in Construction or similar.
- Must have knowledge in ISO 9001,ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Must have solid experience in Commerical and strong technical skills.
- Good communication, negotiation and network skills.
- Fluency in English is a must.
