JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Testing Engineer to join our team in the Oil & Gas industry in Oman. The Testing Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and systems through rigorous testing and analysis. This is a key role in our organization, and the successful candidate will play a crucial part in maintaining the high standards of our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement testing procedures for oil and gas equipment and systems
- Conduct thorough testing and analysis to identify any defects or issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and specifications
- Create detailed test reports and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations
- Troubleshoot and resolve any testing-related problems or discrepancies
- Stay updated with industry standards and best practices for testing in the oil and gas sector
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols during testing processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering- Proven experience in testing and quality assurance within the oil and gas industry
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to oil and gas testing
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations
- Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of quality and reliability
- Certifications in testing or quality assurance would be an advantage
