JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
- Draft documents or letters in Arabic
- Check and clarify original texts or confer with authors to ensure that translations retain the content, meaning, and feeling of the original material
- Verify translations of technical terms and terminology and to ensure that they are accurate and remain consistent throughout translation revisions
- Proofread, edit, and revise translated materials
- Provide language advice and offer assistance to other staff or to the companys requirement
- Attend meeting or discussion and act as the company interpreter when the other party are not well-versed in English
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or degree in any discipline
- Preferably as a resident of a country
- Have previously worked in an EPC / plant environment where he/she would have some exposure to the industrial practices
- Able to demonstrate sound knowledge of both written and spoken English and Arabic languages
