We are now seeking talented Civil Engineer - Roads to join our office in Porto , Portugal.
This critical role will work as part of the Infrastructure team, developing roads and highways designs in the different project design stages.
Responsibilities
We envisage success in this role to include:
- Preparing roads/highways designs following the project's scope.
- Ensuring all calculations are prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Authority Standards and Codes of Practice as per the project location and requirements.
- Coordinating and giving technical guidance to CAD Technicians / BIM Technicians to produce drawings and models.
- Preparing technical reports, presentations and other deliverables.
- Coordinating with other disciplines to achieve a fully integrated design.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- We welcome all levels of experience, with more than 2 years of experience in a similar position. Having a membership of a professional institution is desirable.
Furthermore, you should demonstrate
- Proven experience in the design of roads and/or highways
- Proficiency in software such as Autodesk AutoCAD , AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office .
- Knowledge in BIM is an advantage .
- Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
