Responsible for coordinating and supervising the maintenance of the general ledger and the resultant financial statements. Responsible for financial roll-up and accuracy of annual business plan. Prepares and administers the sectionÆs budget and business plan and may assist in preparing and/or administering budgets and business plans for operating departments. Directs a group or section of general accountants and administers personnel related functions. May advise management on key financial issues and financial performance. Responsible for interpreting and applying company policy and accounting principles to financial transactions.
