JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

WSP is currently seeking an Architectural Inspector to be part of our team.
A typical week would include:
• Follow the tasks assigned for inspection by the Project Manager.
• Attend inspections via Work Inspection Requests and provide accurate inspection comments;
• Provide inspection comments and submit to the Project Manager for verification;
• Assure inspections are carried out as per schedule and procedure;
• Prior to inspection requests, monitor works and coordinate with Contractor on issues that might become non-conformance reports;
• Advice on any Architectural problems, issues and deficiencies identified to the Project Manager in a timely manner.
• Maintain Daily Works Records in an agreed format, submitting the Daily Work Records on a Daily basis;
• Provide the status of snagging and re-snagging of the Architectural works as per site condition;
• Provide status regarding completion of outstanding Architectural works by the Contractor when required;
REQUIREMENTS
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
• Degree in Architecture from a recognized University;
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience;
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience in the Gulf region; preferably in Qatar
• Candidates based in Qatar will be given preference.
