JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Supports United States Forces Global (USFOR-G)

Providing multi-disciplined intelligence operations in support of global United States (US) military and government operations, including, but not limited to, all Major Commands and Combatant Commands of all military branches. USFOR-G provides global intelligence analytical reach-back in support of Department of Defense (DoD), Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and Special Operations Forces (SOF) initiatives, missions, and crisis response as well as US Army Europe & Africa (USAREUR-AF) remote, CONUS-based, analytical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • For Operational Control Team Support - provide guidance and support to Counter Intelligence Support Team (CIST) operations, and review and provide quality assurance/quality control to all CIST products.
  • For CI Screening - conduct CI focused interviews.
  • For Preliminary Credibility Assessment Screening System (PCASS) Examinations - conduct initial credibility assessment using PCASS.
  • For Media Exploitation - conduct exploitation of various digital/electronic and non-digital media sources, such as cell phones, computers, thumb drives, hard drives and documents.
  • For CI Analysis - provide multi-discipline CI analysis to help identify potential insider threats, and support other CI initiatives.
  • For CI Interviews - conduct initial walk-in and wall call interviews and provide CI Team interview assistance.
  • Screen and vet persons of interest (POI) for potential CI and force protection concerns.
  • Perform Asset Validation periodic reviews, counterintelligence reviews and participate in annual-triannual panel reviews.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education - Army CI credentialing course such as CI Special Agent Course (CISAC) or other accredited DOD CI credentialing courses such as Advance Foreign CI Training Course (AFCITC) OR MAGTF CI/HUMINT Basic Course OR NCIS Special Agent Basic Training Program (SABTP).
  • Experience - at least eight years' experience with former MOS 35L, 351L, 97B, 35E, 351L OR civilian formerly badged and credentialed 1810/1811/0132 OR 18F = SF INTEL NCO OR 180A SF WO with ASOT-III, OR other Service equivalents specialty codes such as USAF 7S091 - Special Investigator (SI) USMC 0211 Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Specialist, OR other DoD Joint Service equivalent specialty codes.
  • PLUS If 35M, 351M, and 97E OR USAF 1N791 Human Intelligence Specialist waiverable with a minimum of two years' experience as a Mid-level CISS. Graduates from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Criminal Investigator Training Programs resulting in badging credentialing will be reviewed on a case by case basis for waivers.
  • Clearance - TS/SCI.

Special Skills or Qualifications:

  • 5 years operational experience coordinating operations.
  • Knowledge of Army/Joint CI procedures, doctrine, and practices.
  • Knowledge of Army/Joint Counterintelligence regulations and legal limits.
  • Knowledge of basic CI analysis, data mining, and DoD common intelligence systems.
  • Experience in working with and through interpreters.
  • Experience with interview and solicitation techniques.
  • Experience with CI principles and methods.
  • Experience in developing screening/interviewing/debriefing plans.
  • Experience in conducting screenings/interviewing/debriefing.
  • Proficient in briefing senior leadership at the O6 level.
  • Experience with the evaluation of information requiring further investigation.
  • Deployment experience.
  • Experience writing/reviewing military reports.
  • Experience supporting CI operations or acting in the capacity of performing the mission of a CI agent.
  • Able to qualify with the M4 rifle and M9/M17/M18 pistol using basic military marksmanship standards.
  • Able to carry a 60-lb pack in the field and the M4 rifle for self-defense.

Highly Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education - Bachelor's Degree.
  • Knowledge of Dari or Pashto language.
  • Working knowledge of foreign cultures within the AOR.
  • Familiar with CI Systems and databases such as PCASS, CELLEX, BI2R, TCOP, HOT-R.
  • DSDC Qualified.
  • Tactical Deployment CI experience.
  • Management Experience.
