Rixos Qetaifan Island North

Opening mid 2022, Rixos Doha Qetaifan will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sq m of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Slated to make its debut right before the World Cup, Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country's biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North's waterpark attraction The Icon Tower, the world's highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres in height.

Assistant Park Service Manager - Waterpark

This position is to ensure that the entire facility is maintained to the highest standard in terms of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene. Plan, direct and control all activities related to the department with emphasis on sustainability, optimized use of available resources and show continuous improvement whilst maintaining professional and well-organized service.

What you will be doing:

- Ensure that all safety policies and procedures are enforced in the department
- Identify, develop, and conduct all staff training programs, focusing on their development needs, providing them with new skills to meet the changing needs of the business
- Prepare and complete all daily or monthly reports also ensuring that the monthly document retention is completed
- Monitor and control inventories for operating equipment, chemicals, and machinery etc. where applicable
- Plan, schedule, organize, and oversee work to ensure proper coverage, timely completion, and satisfactory performance
- Schedule routine inspections of washrooms and public areas, coach employees on deficiencies, and provide corrective action where appropriate
- Promote housekeeping quality initiatives by conducting inspections
- Inspect the environment within the organization to ensure it meets the minimum best practice throughout the organization
- Ensure that guests enjoy impeccable services offered by the team members in a timely manner
- Listen to customers' complaints and ensure that the complaints are addressed efficiently and effectively
- Maintain good relationship with managers of other units in the organization.
- Work outdoor, in extreme temperatures, wet, humid, or windy environment caused by weather conditions
- Create and Update Standard Operating Procedures for all areas of responsibility periodically
- Conduct quality control inspections of all areas of the Water Park and share results with the team
- Conduct daily briefings to provide department and operational information and ensure that grooming standards, attitude, and degree of professionalism are met by each staff member
- Ensure that all staff attendance is accurately recorded daily
- Manage all outside contractors relating to department ensuring that they follow all Water park policies and procedures
- Oversee and manage all waste management
- Oversee and manage operations of Laundry Service

REQUIREMENTS

Your experience and skills include:

- Senior Secondary / High school or certification(s) from a reputable Hospitality Management school
- Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
- Relevant work experience or role at a Leisure/ Hospitality environment
- Minimum of 2-3 years of similar experience
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and training skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
- Well-presented and professionally always groomed
