JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Catering Services:
- Provide canteen catering, commissary & drinking water supply services and implement productivity, quality, and customer-service standards as required.
- Maintain weekly and monthly inspections and update meetings with contractors.
- Keep records of all the materials, equipments etc. received and issued.
- Check and monitor the entitlement of employee meals.
- Ensure canteen supplies and services are available for employees, guests and contractors.
- Arrange for the refreshments and special meals for events and special occasions. Facilitate the recommended or approve menus for events and make sure they suits customers practically and financially.
- Maintain and control the new meals deductions system through the ID Card System liaising with Finance Department.
- Evaluate catering contractors according to their food quality and service performance.
- Keep record of catering inspection checklist for canteen facilities and other related applicable inspection report.

Safe & Healthy Food/Products:
- Establish, follow and enforce sanitation and quality of food preparation and service standards and procedures.
- Comply with sanitation and legal regulations and implement ISO &/or HACCP systems.
- Follow up with the HSE for contractors and checking personal hygiene, basic food hygiene requirements.

Special Events/Catering Functions:
- Recommend menu for the event and make sure it suits the end user requirements.
- Follow up the arrangements with every detail till the end of the event.
- Order, receive, store & issue commissary items to all units according to their needs & requests and maintain enough stock all time.
- Adapt and modify according to the sudden changes and prepare always to have plan B to avoid critical situations and never manage by crisis.
- Introduce, maintain and control the new meals deductions system which is the Coupon system {Ordering, Receiving, Selling, Depositing the cash & Maintaining sales report analysis} liaising with Finance.

Administrative Support:
- Conduct regular ocular inspection of facilities, food handling and staff service.
- Conduct periodic customer satisfaction survey/feedback to maintain highest quality on food and services.
- Evaluate contractors and analyze all data given for new contracts dealing with catering, office waiters, commissary and bottled drinking water.

Safety, Quality & Environment:
- Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures.
- Implement and support controls procedures to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high quality service in a responsible environmental attitude.

Policies & Procedures
- Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures relevant to all job areas.

Continuous Improvement
- Support departments continuous improvement contributing to meet Companys target and objectives

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Ensure all catering function request/s are resolve timely and accurately.
- Conduct regular ocular inspection of facilities, food handling and staff service.
- Conduct periodic customer satisfaction survey/feedback.
- Ensure internal and external customers are treated with respect and dignity.

PROBLEM SOLVING:
Problems are varied but similar. Require some fact finding in order to fully understand the issue and consider the most appropriate response. Responses will be drawn from pre-established solutions from which the role will need to select the most appropriate. Occasionally may be expected to adapt solutions for specific situations.

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal:
- GS Supervisor (Doha and RL), Head of GS RL, Head of GS Doha, GS Manager and all GS Staff
- All Employee Levels in the organization.

External:
- Contractors.

REQUIREMENTS

- High School Certificate is required.
- Higher education, Diploma or Bachelors Degree will be an added advantage.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in providing catering services.
- 2 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry is preferred.

Job Specific Skills:
- Language skills (English).
- Microsoft office suite & computer literacy.
- Interpersonal skills (communication and relationship building in particular).
- Catering services, food handling and international dishes.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- Customer Service.
