Commercial Manager - Specialist International Foundation Contractor - Industry Leading Package - Qatar
Our client is one the leaders in specialist foundation projects across Europe and part of one the leading global construction and civil engineering contractors.
As a group they have recently turned over 1.8 bn and their specialist foundation division has offices in the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait and an integrated design office. They specifically work on shoring, diaphragm wall, slurry wall, secant pile wall, contiguous wall, temporary or permanent ground anchor, piling work (bored piles, CFA piles etc), grouting work and soil improvement.
As the Commercial Manager you will be responsible for the commercial aspects of a specific section of the overall Projects in Qatar, managing your own commercial team. The position includes contract administration, cost & budget control, income strategies, supply chain management and other related commercial activities:
Responsibilities of the Commercial Manager:
- Lead and manage all daily activities in terms of commercial, contracts, business development projects;
- Maintaining commercial relations with clients on existing contracts and identify new business opportunities for the company;
- Provide Legal support of the questions of Compliance, Litigations and Risk issues;
- Supervising and providing support for multinational teams of Commercial, Business Development, Tender specialists;
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 5 years working experience as Commercial Manager for special foundation / piling
- Companies or similar positions:
- Excellent commercial & contractual knowledge
- Good command in both written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Project (Primavera if possible), PowerPoint
