JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The Commis 1 is a key junior position in the kitchen brigade, responsible for supporting the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes under the guidance of senior chefs. The main objective is to efficiently execute tasks in assigned sections, maintain hygiene and safety standards, and continuously develop culinary skills to contribute to the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Requirements:
A motivated and detail-oriented junior chef with a strong foundation in culinary techniques and kitchen operations. As a Commis 1, demonstrates a solid understanding of food preparation, cooking methods, and kitchen hygiene standards. Skilled in supporting senior chefs by executing assigned tasks efficiently and maintaining a high level of consistency and quality.Possesses a proactive attitude, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is eager to grow within the culinary field. Adept at managing a station during service, ensuring mise en place is ready, and delivering dishes that meet both taste and presentation standards. Known for being a reliable team player with a passion for food, continuous learning, and excellence in service delivery.

Preferred Candidates: Currently available in Qatar with Transferable Visa and NOC (obtainable).
