Qualification and experience required

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in sciences or engineering

Required to have offshore survival certificate and be able to pass an offshore medical evaluation. OPITO certification is mandatory.

Ability to work on or be based on offshore platform or vessel.

Knowledge and/or experience

Minimum of 8 years experience in offshore construction and installation in major capital projects - especially in brownfield scopes

Extensive experience with brownfield project execution both from contractor and client organizations.

Technical and business skills

Worldwide experience with contractors in particular those involved in offshore projects. It is an advantage if you have experience from clients completion philosophy.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a project management team.

Application and in-depth knowledge of stakeholder specifications and a working knowledge of industry standards.

A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English, computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.

Job purpose

Assist company offshore brownfield leadership team to coordinate day to day construction activities of EPC contractor for safe and successful execution of offshore brownfield scopes to meet EPC and overall project objectives by ensuring quality, time of the work, effective and efficient delivery of the project.

Key job accountabilities

Coordinate with offshore brownfield construction technical and execution leadership to support the constructability and installability methods and strategies.

Coordinate and participate in readiness reviews and approvals to proceed for major offshore activities including site mobilization (e.g., JUB mobilization and set up), pre-shutdown, shutdown, and re-starts.

Support and communicate project priorities and strategies to all pre-fabrication yard teams for brownfield and tie-in scopes.

Ensure interfaces (engineering, other construction/fabrication sites, commissioning/startup, operations, etc.) are properly managed for brownfield and tie-in scope.

Coordinate with EPC contractor to deliver SDMS gated deliverables and construction workpacks as per project schedule.

Coordinate with company construction leadership team on day to day offshore readiness reviews - HSE, QA/QC methods, procurement, fabrication, logistics, etc.

Actively review and follow up all construction engineering deliverables, workshop actions, lessons learnt implementation and coordinate with company PMT and EPC contractor to satisfactorily close out.

Ensure team readiness for offshore campaigns through regular readiness reviews and assist CSR in day to day progress reporting to home office from offshore locations.
