Construction Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Required to join an international contractor working on a industrial mega project in Qatar.

Responsibilities include:
• Plans and supervises the major functions of the construction which include the responsibility for the planning and co-ordination of all manpower and equipment, materials supplies, and sub-contracted services, towards the proper completion of the work on schedule with approved drawings, specifications, cost and quality limitations.
• Monitors Sub-contractors at each stage of the work to ensure proper compliance with all technical aspects of the contract through both individual contacts and co-ordination meetings.
• Drafts for the signature of the Project Manager all correspondence to the Client and/or Sub-contractors related to his section of the project.

REQUIREMENTS

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10 + years of working on major international Petrochemical projects
• Expert mechanical engineer able to co-ordinate other disciplines
• Should have an in-depth knowledge of a multi - discipline environment.
• A record of working with international contractors on large scale projects
• Excellent communication skills
