JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Ahli Bank Qatar's Corporate Banking Department is seeking CVs from experienced Credit Analysts/Officers in various segments in the Corporate Banking sector.
PRIMARY ROLE:
- Support the Relationship Managers within the team in all related to credit, including:
- Conducting annual and regular client reviews
- Diarising and organizing workflow to ensure smooth and timely flow of business
- Preparing credit applications with the relevant RM for onward submission to Credit and Investment Committee
- Maintaining contact / follow-up with clients
- Resolving client issues and problems
- Liaising internally to facilitate the introduction of new business
- Display a high level of ethics in all his external as well as internal dealings and communications.
SECONDARY ROLE:
The Credit Analyst/Officer may be assigned a specific portfolio of accounts and will have overall responsibility for the efficient management of that portfolio.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
Working in close co-operation with and supporting the RMs, SRMs and Team Leader of the unit in which he is working
Meeting clients along with the Relationship Managers particularly at the time of annual review / set up credit lines
Preparing visit reports, where appropriate
Obtaining all relevant information relating to a given credit proposal from the client and follow up where necessary
Spreading the client’s financials in the Bank’s format
Preparing credit applications along with the RMs;
Undertaking other job related administrative duties;
Attending to customer queries and ensuring follow-up and appropriate solutions
Assisting credit administration in the compilation of data and submission of reports.
Undertake any other assignment as may be delegated by the Direct Supervisor the management as per business requirement
REQUIREMENTS
University Degree in Finance or Business Administration or equivalent;
Minimum 2 -3 years of Experience in Corporate Banking sector
Very good command in English and (preferably) Arabic
Good communication skills and ability to work in high-pressured, team environment.
