JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Deputy Commercial Manager (Arabic-speaking) – Qatar – Immediate start
Linum Consult’s client is urgently seeking an Arabic-Speaking Deputy Commercial Manager specialising in mixed-use projects and from a main contracting background to join their team on a major construction project in Qatar. Due to visa restrictions, our client is only able to employ Egyptian or Jordanian nationals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assisting the Commercial Manager with the closure of the project in Qatar
• Assisting with the Claims settlements with the end-client and subcontractors
• Supervising Quantity Surveyors
• Liaising with the Client and subcontractors
REQUIREMENTS
• At least 12 years of experience in Quantity Surveying with a heavy focus on the construction of mixed-use commercial buildings, hotels, or high-end residential apartments
• At least a Bachelors qualification in Quantity Surveying or Engineering
• Must have extensive experience of working for international main contractors, preferably in the Middle East
• Must have immediate availability
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English
Our client is willing to pay an excellent tax-free salary for this opportunity, plus expat package
