The Risk Consulting (“RC”) practice’s key services are:
• Enterprise risk management (“ERM”) advisory
• Corporate governance advisory
• Compliance advisory
• Internal audit advisory
• Forensics advisory
The Role:
• Support the growth of the RC business in Qatar
• Take on an active leadership role in growing the ERM advisory related services
• Lead large and complex engagements and related provide subject matter expertise
• Take responsibility for product innovation, practice growth and team development
• Familiar and is able to advice clients on suitable COSO and ISO ERM Frameworks and related implications
REQUIREMENTS
The Individual:
Minimum qualifications:
• A recognized degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Business or related disciplines
• CA, CPA, CFA, MBA or a related advance degree
Key Experience:
• 6 to 9 years relevant experience in Enterprise Risk Management (“ERM”) or related areas in large audit and /or consulting firm, or a leading commercial organization of which a majority should be in an assurance role primarily related to ERM such as:
• Enterprise Risk Management
• Business Continuity Planning and Management
• Operational Risk Assessments and Management
• Enterprise Risk and Contractual Risk Management
Candidate should have experience in working with teams in the development and implementation of end to end enterprise risk management programs i.e.:
• Risk strategy and appetite
• Risk governance
• Risk assessment and measurement
• Risk management and monitoring
• Risk Reporting and Insights
• Data and Technology
Other requirements:
• Multi-industry experience is an advantage
• Multi-country experience
• Delivery of training programs (external)
• Delivery of speaking engagements (seminars / conferences) an advantage
Personal attributes:
• Ambitious, self-motivated, mature and business-minded with strong leadership and high ethical standards
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent analytical ability and presentation and writing skills
• Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize tasks
• Candidates fluent in Arabic would be an advantage
