JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Lead and supervise offshore drilling operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with all regulations. Work closely with teams to achieve operational goals on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Operations:
• Oversee drilling activities based on the approved program.
• Ensure smooth and safe operations while troubleshooting issues.
Safety First:
• Enforce HSE standards and lead safety drills.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and incident reporting.
Team Leadership:
• Manage and guide drilling crews and contractors.
• Coordinate with onshore teams and ensure clear communication.
Equipment & Materials:
• Optimize resource use and maintain inventory.
• Ensure proper maintenance and operation of drilling equipment.
Reporting:
• Prepare and submit daily reports.
• Maintain accurate records of well progress and incidents.
Requirements:
• Experience: 4+ years in offshore drilling (3+ as Supervisor).• Certifications: IWCF/IADC Well Control (Supervisor level).
• Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and technical know-how.
• Education: Degree in Petroleum/Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
