What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

- Supervises Front Office Operations
- Cooperates, coordinates and communicates with other departments to ensure smooth and coordinated operations
- Follow up on rooms with respective departments for arrivals and departures
- Escalate matters that concern other departments to improve overall guest satisfaction
- Identify training needs within the department and conduct trainings; coach where necessary and give a proper orientation of the department to new colleagues
- Prepare roster; observe and maintain grooming and hygiene standards in the department
- Assist the Front Office Manager/ Rooms Division Manager with Monthly Department meetings by sharing ideas/ opinions that can help improve in Guest and Employee satisfaction
- Prompt follow up with Reservations
- Check and inspect room and amenities designated for VIP arrivals
- Conduct daily briefings; ensure that the SOPs are followed
- Stock up the supplies needed in all sections of the department
- Assume the roles and responsibilities of Front Office Manager in his/her absence

REQUIREMENTS

Your experience and skills include:

- Diploma in Tourism/ Hospitality Management
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in Arabic and English language is a must
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and training skills
- Results and service oriented with an eye for detail
- Ability to multi-task, work well in stressful & high-pressure situations
- Team player & builder
