JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client is a leading contracting company. They are currently recruiting an Electrical MV Site Engineer to work in Qatar.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Shall coordinate with the main contractor/consultant project engineer for any site related issues and concerns.
- Shall prepare weekly progress report and submit it to the project manager.
- Shall review the material status and coordinate with the material Engineer / Procurement for ensuring the material availability and its tracking.
- Daily review of site progress with supervisors and foreman’s to ensure that all the problems are tackled effectively and the work progress is as per schedule.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- UPDA and KAHRAMA Certificate required.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in execution of Electrical systems in commercial / residential buildings. (Gulf experience preferred).
- Good exposure in Estimation and Execution of MV and HV systems in large scale commercial/ residential projects.
- Good exposure in installation, Testing and commissioning of Electrical systems.
- Working Knowledge in Auto CAD, MS office.
- Good Knowledge in QCS, NFPA, Civil defense requirements, Kahrama codes.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.
