JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team in the Oil and Gas industry in Qatar

• Ensure the technical integrity is achieved for the power generation & distribution activities.
• Execute progressive energisation and testing of all power generation, control & distribution equipment
• Prepare for a smooth hand over to Owner of the electrical related systems & packages.
• Co-ordination and supervision of Field Engineers and Technicians.
• Interfaces with other disciplines and third parties.
• Responsible for safety, safe working practices and environmental issues in all the areas under their control.
• Maintain a comprehensive log of the activities and report progress to Electrical Superintendent.
• Ensure that the works proceed in conformity with the schedule, and report any deviations to the Electrical Superintendent.
• Ensure power supply preparation & execution necessary to other disciplines for their own tests as well as the relevant safety precautions organization (work permits, Lock Out/Tag Out, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 10 years plus in Oil & Gas facility projects and 5 years experience in Electrical power generation, control & distribution equipment
• Experience in troubleshooting problems with electrical, instrumentation and control equipment
