JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The job holder will be responsible to assist with the monitoring of the Group’s loan book by performing in-depth portfolio analysis across various products to assess risk and opportunities, and to validate and refine credit policies/processes through the use of analytics & practical market knowledge.

The person is also accountable for maintaining and enhancing Credit MIS as an effective tool for managing portfolio quality, profitability and product performance across various segments. Role holder is also expected to be actively involved in managing risk needs for ICT projects which will include User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Where required, person will provide analytical and computing support for any projects / initiatives for market, credit or operational risk

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor Degree or higher in a Business/Finance/Economics or Mathematical/Statistical field.
- 8 - 10 years’ experience in Enterprise Risk Management / financial data analysis / Credit Risk Management.
- Experience in wholesale and retail credit portfolio monitoring and policy setting.
- Project management experience in Credit, Market or Operational risk area.
- International Experience in developed markets required, particularly jurisdictions where advanced approaches for Basel 2 is allowed.

Technical
- Understanding and use of RAROC, economic capital
- Strong computing skills in MS Office suite and outstanding financial programming skills in VBA, C++, fluency in mathematical and statistical analysis software, and good understanding of risk monitoring and reporting processes
- Strong portfolio analytical and financial analysis skills, with demonstrated ability to conceptualize and clearly communicate the analytical findings, both in writing and verbally.
- Knowledge and understanding of statistical modeling and analytical techniques, particularly scorecard/model development, implementation, testing and monitoring.
- Experience using decision management tools, or SAS, or other related programming software an advantage.
