JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The ETL Architect designs and develops software required to extract, transform, and load data from the clinical and business source systems into enterprise data warehouse, data mart and operational data stores internal or external. Develops robust end-to-end analytics solutions for structured and unstructured data including, but not limited to, ingestion, parsing, integration, auditing, logging, aggregation, normalization, and error handling. Other related responsibilities include ongoing support, maintenance, and other analytics and information management related responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS
• 5+ years’ experience in ETL development and administration of data integration tools (e.g. Informatica, DataStage, Oracle ODI, etc.) for data warehouse projects (healthcare preferred).
• Expert Oracle SQL, PL/SQL skills, including performance tuning.
• In depth understanding of data integration best practices, leading industry applications and features such as master data management, entity resolution, data quality assessment, metadata management, etc.
• Understanding of data warehouse best practices sourcing the data from the operational systems
• Experience in managing the deployment of the data integration tool(s)
